Face-to-Face - Undergraduate Degree

A bachelor of science (BS) with a major in nursing degree is a valuable addition to your registered nurse (RN) credential. As healthcare regulations change, more and more hospitals are requiring nurses to hold bachelors degrees and even seek graduate-level education.

Flexible & Convenient
Unlike many traditional bachelors degrees, North Parks nursing degree completion classes are offered on a convenient weeknight schedule to assist you in maintaining your nursing career while completing your degree. Our campus is easy to reach by car and public transit, and classes are occasionally offered at some of our partner hospitals and clinics.

Earn Transfer Credit
You may transfer credits to North Park from previous undergraduate courses youve taken at accredited schools. Up to 60 hours may be transferred from a community college, and up to 90 hours from a four-year school. Youll also receive 30 additional credits from your clinical RN coursework.

Become an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner

Earn your masters degree and gain the advanced practice experience you need to be an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner (AGNP). State-of-the-Art Simulation Lab

Opened in 2012, the School of Nursings nursing simulation laboratory provides hands-on opportunities for students to practice treating patients in a safe environment.
Our 3,000-square-foot facility includes four rooms that simulate a clinical setting equipped with the latest medical technology, and three rooms dedicated to skills development. Students practice techniques on actors and high fidelity mannequins who simulate different health scenarios. Audio and video recording capabilities allow students to review their work and receive direct feedback from faculty.

Upon completion of coursework and supervised clinical practice for this certificate, youll be prepared to take the family nurse practitioner certification exam offered through the American Nurses' Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
